Community Fundraising – Out and About

HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all.

In 2012 we have many exciting and interesting initiatives coming up (please view the Hospice Events page) and we are also mindful that there are a number of major events taking place including Euro 2012, the Olympics and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Would you like to help with our fundraising activities during these momentous occasions? You may like to host a street party for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, a sporting event to tie in with the Olympics or football competition to coincide with Euro 2012. If you think you can help we would love to hear from you.

Our partnership with Oldham Athletic FC continues along with Uppermill FC. The schools and colleges throughout the borough continue to support us including Alt Primary, St. Josephs RC Primary, North Chadderton High, Blessed Newman RC, Crompton & Royton School, Oldham Academy North, & Oldham College.

We are once again grateful to all the supermarkets & banks who have given us time & space to fundraise in-store/branches.

My New Years resolution is to update the Community News more regularly, so keep looking to check that I haven’t broken it!

Community and Event Volunteers Needed - We are keen to hear from anyone who would like to organise events for us and raise vital funds for the Appeals campaign. Volunteers and supporters are also urgently needed to assist with Hospice events throughout the year, if you would like to join our team of volunteers I would love to hear from you.
