Donate It For Dr Kershaw's

These are unprecedented times with many new draws on your resources which makes any donation you make towards the care of our patients even more special.

Although our Inpatient Unit has now been closed temporarily, we remain resolute in our aim to provide end of life care to patients from your community, simply in a new location – their own homes.

We may have changed where we look after patients at the end of their life but our specialist, dedicated doctors, nurses and health care assistants still need your help.

Whether you are able to donate £2, £20 or £200, every penny will make a difference to someone else – someone else’s mother or father, someone else’s son or daughter… someone else’s friend.

Think. By donating the money you’ve not spent on petrol, gym or television sports subscriptions, dining out or even your monthly trip to the hairdressers or nail salon, your donation will make you an important part of a patient’s care journey.

By making a donation you will be helping someone else to spend their last days in our care, giving them time with those who are able to be with them, to create precious forever-memories, pain-free, in comfort and with dignity. What an amazing gift.

In return, our gift to you is simple, two heartfelt words that come from our team and the patients and families we care for – THANK YOU!

  • £2 would pay for 100ml of hand sanitiser
  • £10 could help towards providing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for a nurse or healthcare assistant
  • £30 could help towards funding a patient’s visit by a team of two carers from our Caring Hands Services, providing them with specialist domiciliary care
  • £50 could help fund a senior Hospice at Home nurse to care for a dying patient and their family in the comfort of their own home

Making a donation to the Hospice couldn’t be easier.
